I take this opportunity to express heartfelt gratitude to the great visionary founders of this College, who laid the foundation way back in 1978. My sincere appreciations are also due to the gallant predecessors, dedicated teachers, untiring non-teaching staff and all the past and present students of this College.

Govt. Saiha College is the one and only institution of higher education in the whole of the District. It has many peculiar features, found mainly in its inherent challenges, which make the College a unique one. Amidst many, one striking characteristic which the College faces is the urge to produce 'quality output' while serving students across the Mara and Lai Autonomous District Councils.

Our team of committed teachers, bearing in mind the motto of the College—TO GRADE UP—has been constantly facing all challenges to produce successful alumni over the years. We believe education is the key medium for social transformation.
