Students' Union Leaders (2026–2027)
The election to the Students' Union Body, which was earlier scheduled to be held today (Dt.31st July) became uneventful. It is due to the lack of multiple line ups of candidates to contest the election. Only one line up of seven candidates (against seven posts) has filed the nomination.
Consequent upon this, the following candidates of the said line up have been directly selected (uncontested) to occupy the available seven posts for the Academic Session of July 2026 - June 2027:

- General Secretary - K. Bonifence, V Semester, Dept. of History
- Secretary, Art & Culture - B. Beikypachha, V Semester, Dept. of Sociology
- Secretary, Outdoor - FC Beikhochhua, V Semester, Dept. of Sociology
- Secretary, Indoor - J. Lalnunsanga, V Semester, Dept. of Mizo
- Secretary, Debate - C. Lalruathlui, III Semester, Dept. of History
- Magazine Editor - C. Jenifer Lalremruati, V Semester, Dept. of Mizo
The above selected candidates are hereby further informed to assemble at the Principal's Chamber on 3rd August, 2026 to form the Students' Union Body. Oath-taking will also follow.
