The election to the Students’ Union leadership for the Academic Session July 2026–June 2027 was scheduled to be held on 31 July 2026. However, due to the absence of multiple groups of candidates contesting the election, only one group comprising seven candidates, corresponding to the seven available posts, filed their nominations.
Consequently, the following candidates were declared elected unopposed to the respective posts of the Students’ Union for the Academic Session July 2026–June 2027:

- General Secretary – K. Bonifence, V Semester, Department of History
- Secretary, Outdoor Games – FC Beikhochhua, V Semester, Department of Sociology
- Secretary, Indoor Games – J. Lalnunsanga, V Semester, Department of Mizo
- Secretary, Debate – C. Lalruathlui, III Semester, Department of History
- Secretary, Art & Culture – B. Beikypachha, V Semester, Department of Sociology
- Magazine Editor – C. Jenifer Lalremruati, V Semester, Department of Mizo
The newly elected Students’ Union leaders, along with the outgoing Students’ Union office-bearers, participated in the oath-taking ceremony and formal handing-over of charge on 3 August 2026 at the Principal’s Chamber.
